#1 Atmosphere
Atmosphere is very important when building a healthy family.
Atmosphere is a place that controls your mood. The one that controls the thermostat controls the environment.
We have a choice to be a thermostat or to be a thermometer. Not just reacting but controlling what's happening.
We are in control of the atmosphere.

#2 Words
Your words are powerful. We create what we live in today by our words.
If we look at Proverbs 18:21(NKJV) the Bible says,
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit”.
So when we learn to tame the tongue we learn to control the outcome.
James 3:8 states; “But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.”
We have to “THINK” before we Speak
T-Is it True?
H-Is it Helpful?
I-Is it Inspiring?
N-Is it Necessary?
K-Is it Kind?
If we “think” before we speak, it will help the atmosphere.
What we say to our family will change the atmosphere, and what we hear is what we say.
1 Samuel 16:23
“And so it was, whenever the spirit from God was upon Saul, that David would take a harp and play it with his hand. Then Saul would become refreshed and well, and the distressing spirit would depart from him.”
Saul had an issue because he was always stressed out.
Challenge: Change what you listen to, it will change the way you think and speak.

#3 Faith
Faith will determine if people have a good attitude. Faith changes your attitude. No faith kills the environment of the room.
When you have an atmosphere of trust people feel safe.
Jeremiah 17:7-8
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,
Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes;
But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”

Psalms 1:2-3 NLT
“But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night.He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.”
A defeated christian doesn't know their source. We have a choice to chase an atmosphere or to create an atmosphere.
1 Corinthians 15:57 NKJV
“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
There is something about a family that knows how to get victory in their own home. Create an environment that people want to be around.
When I was raising my family I had to get re-trained because I was bringing home what I used to have in the world to my Christian Home. There was something I had to create in this new environment.
The Holy Spirit spoke to me during this time and said, “I'm trying to show you something, you need to stop introducing the world to your family.” I had to understand that I needed to create an atmosphere to be fruitful.
After changing the atmosphere my children began to get saved.
I can't control what's happening in the world, but I can control what's happening in my home.
When you begin to trust God with your environment all of a sudden God begins to change everything. Even if it doesn't work out for you, your joy should still stay the same.
We have the responsibility to change the atmosphere.
When Jesus said to the storm "peace, be still", he was saying it in a place where he already had peace and he brought peace to the situation.

“And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
When you understand your Words are important you understand your Faith is Important. You understand your Victory Is important in your home, Job, everything is affected by it and then your Atmosphere begins to change.
